To support our Events team we are searching for a Senior Event Manager, Greater China (f/m/d) to be based in one of our offices in Munich or London.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Event Planning 
•    Lead the development and implementation of Mytheresa’s Greater China event strategy
•    Conceptualize and deliver high-impact experiential programs that strengthen Mytheresa’s positioning among top luxury clients 
•    Identify and develop strategic event partnerships with luxury brands, private banks and private clubs and cultural institutions.

Top Client Experiences 
•    Design and execute exclusive “money-can’t-buy” experiences for Mytheresa’s top clients in collaboration with key brand partners.
•    Curate a luxury experiences, destination events, and private gatherings that foster deeper community engagement.
•    Elevate how guests, collaborations, press, and partners experience the Mytheresa brand.

Event Production & Execution
•    Oversee the full lifecycle of event execution, including concept development, production, logistics, and post event reporting. 
•    Manage, coordinate external agencies, suppliers, venues, and product partners
•    Ensure all events are delivered to the highest standard while maintaining budget discipline.

Cross-Functional collaboration 
•    Partner with internal teams across marketing, brand partnership, client relations to integrate events into broader campaigns.
•    Support brand collaborations, capsule launches, and special projects through experiential activations.

Market Intelligence and Innovation
•    Monitor luxury industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Mytheresa events remain innovative and best in class
•    Identify new destinations, venues, suppliers to continuously enhance the internal event database 
•    Provide insights and report on market developments and experiential trends.

Data & Reporting
•    Oversea guests management, registration processes 
•    Evaluate event performance and client engagement to improve future experiences.

WHO YOU ARE


•    Minimum 8 years of experience in the luxury industry, preferably with exposure to e-commerce, experiential marketing, or event agencies, experience within a luxury brand is a plus
•    Strong event management experience with a proven track record of planning and executing high-end events.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong proficiency in English required for collaboration with global teams
•    Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude 
•    Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills 
•    Result oriented 
•    Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced deadline driven environment 
•    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when needed
•    Good understanding of international luxury markets and client expectations 
•    Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience
