To support our IT Services Team we are searching for a Team Lead IT Compliance - SOX (f/m/d) to be based in one of our offices in Munich or London.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own and lead the global IT SOX (SOX 404) compliance program as the primary SME across a complex system landscape
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small IT Compliance team, including performance management and growth support
  • Provide independent assurance and strategic guidance on ITGC, ITAC, and automated control design and effectiveness
  • Partner with IT leadership, system owners, and Risk & Compliance to embed “Compliance by Design” in systems and processes
  • Plan and oversee IT SOX control testing, ensuring high-quality documentation aligned with PCAOB standards
  • Act as the main liaison for external auditors, managing walkthroughs, evidence requests, and defending the control environment
  • Communicate IT risks and audit findings to senior management and drive effective, sustainable remediation actions


WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or similar IT-focused field
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Audit, Risk, or Compliance (ideally Big 4 + in-house in US-listed or regulated multinational)
  • Deep expertise in SOX 404 (incl. PCAOB standards), with strong focus on ITGC (access, change, operations), ITAC and IT Application Controls
  • Proven experience auditing complex IT environments (ERP like SAP/Oracle, cloud platforms, SaaS solutions)
  • Relevant certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP) strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented mindset with ability to translate technical risks into business impact
  • High integrity, strong communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English (German is a plus)
