Technology

Munich, DE

Here at Mytheresa, technology meets luxury fashion in a space that celebrates both creativity and digital advancement. Centered in the heart of Europe, we are a dynamic international team, hailing from all corners of the globe. Working together we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations with a passion for innovation.

To support our IT team we are searching for a Senior Platform & Enablement Engineer (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design, build and evolve our landscape of internal tools, services and platforms that enable all departments across the company to work more efficiently, safely and autonomously.
  • Automate and operate the underlying infrastructure and Linux-based systems (virtualization, cloud, internal services) that serve as the reliable foundation for our custom-built and provided tools.
  • Provide, administer and extend core collaboration and business platforms (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack) with a focus on cross-departmental workflows, custom integrations and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain custom internal applications and technical integrations (e.g. automated asset and inventory management, Jira Assets connectivity, label printing solutions, device/hardware management, load balancers and routing for internal services).
  • Bridge the gap between software and operations: identify manual bottlenecks in any department, design end-to-end automations and create technical guardrails that simplify the daily work of your colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various business units to understand their requirements, share technical knowledge within the team and help less-experienced colleagues grow in the field of Platform & Enablement Engineering.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have several years of experience in a role focused on system integration, internal tools, automation or a similar field that combines custom software development with professional system administration.
  • You write clean, maintainable code and are confident in Node.js/TypeScript and/or Python to build bespoke solutions; experience with PHP or other languages to maintain existing integrations is a plus.
  • You have strong Linux skills (ideally Debian/Ubuntu) and are comfortable hosting and debugging the services you provide, including networking basics and performance monitoring.
  • You are experienced with automation and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Ansible), containers and virtualization (Docker, VMware ESXi, AWS) to ensure your tools run in a stable and reproducible environment.
  • You have hands-on experience in the deep administration and API-based integration of tools like Jira (including JSM and Assets), Confluence and modern monitoring/logging stacks (e.g. Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Graylog or similar).
  • You think in terms of "Enablement": you enjoy understanding the needs of all users (with technical and non-technical background), simplifying their workflows and designing solutions that are easy to adopt and maintain.
  • You are proactive, collaborative and comfortable communicating technical solutions in German and English to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Up to 32 days of holiday, depending on the length of service, starting with 28 days
  • Mobile office with up to 20% of your total contracted hours (job and position permitting)
  • 10 days/year of mobile office abroad in EU-countries (job and position permitting)
  • Language & e-learning courses
  • Staff discount of up to 30%
  • Company pension scheme
  • Discounted membership for selected sports platforms & gyms
