Copy Editor - English (f/m/d)

The inhouse creative team is responsible for creating, organizing and envisioning the overall look and feel of our retail brand, as well as showcasing our one-of-a-kind brand portfolio to our consumer. The international and diverse team consists of many sub divisions that all contribute to the consistent appearance and customer journey: product copy, product styling, campaign copy and 360° content creation, campaign ideation and creation, the front-end design of our shop and apps, as well as the overall fashion styling and onsite production is managed by this team.
To support our international team we are currently searching for a full-time employee as Copy Editor - English (f/m/d) to join our English team in Munich.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write accurate and concise product descriptions in an editorial tone Write copy for newsletters, homepage and app content

Own creative copy for seasonal and brand campaigns, working closely with Content Managers to execute each project

Edit copy across all channels, providing constructive feedback to the team as needed

Write and edit designer biographies

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent tone of voice across all customer touchpoints

Participate in creative workshops, brand trainings and new projects aimed at team development

Coordinate translation of copy across our eight language teams. Be a point of contact for Content Managers and Copy Editors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of assets

Mentor junior teams members and new starters
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills, including a strong grasp of spelling and grammar. Ability to write in American English a plus.

Educated to degree level with a background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing or fashion-related subjects

2-3 years’ professional experience in writing and editing

A strong interest in luxury fashion and a knowledge of industry trends, brands and textiles

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Familiar with MS Office, CMS systems, and project management tools (e.g., Trello)

Experience in fashion e-commerce, editorial or digital media environments desirable
