To support our E-Mail Marketing Team we are searching for a (Senior) E-Mail Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the planning, creation, scheduling, and deployment of multilingual e-mail campaigns across customer segments
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Analytics, Customer Experience, Retail, Brand Marketing) to align campaign strategy and execution
- Monitor and report on key e-mail KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Optimize newsletters and event-triggered e-mails for relevance, personalization, and deliverability
- Build and manage dynamic segmentation strategies to ensure personalized targeting and better customer retention
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping them develop e-mail marketing best practices and ensuring smooth campaign execution
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of new mailing formats, automation workflows, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
WHO YOU ARE
- Ideally 3-5 years of hands-on experience in E-Mail Marketing, ideally in an international, multi-language environment
- First experience in leading or mentoring team members, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
- Proven ability to develop and execute e-mail strategies that drive measurable results
- Strong understanding of CRM principles, customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation and automation
- Proficiency with e-mail marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SAP Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Oracle Responsys, or similar)
- Comfortable working with data, able to translate performance metrics into actionable insights
- Familiarity with e-mail compliance standards (e.g., GDPR) and e-mail best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Nice to have: Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and performance experimentation as well as basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting and QA
