Head of Global Product Content & Localization (f/m/d)

To support our team we are searching for a Head of Global Product Content & Localization (f/m/d) to be based in our Milan office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Define and oversee the global strategy for product copy — including descriptions, feature naming, experience listings.

Maintain and evolve Luxexperience’s product tone of voice, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s luxury positioning and user experience principles.

Partner closely with Marketing and Buying Teams to deliver high-quality, conversion-driven copy throughout the user journey.

Lead the global localization function for product copy, ensuring linguistic excellence and cultural relevance across all supported markets.

Develop scalable localization workflows, integrating technology solutions (TMS, MT, AI-assisted tools) with human linguistic expertise.

Oversee translation vendors and freelance linguists, enforcing brand standards and regional accuracy.

Drive “transcreation” (creative localization) for key experiences, ensuring emotional and cultural resonance beyond literal translation.

Establish global product content guidelines, tone-of-voice documentation, and glossary management systems.

Implement editorial QA processes to guarantee linguistic quality, factual accuracy, and brand compliance across all languages.

Conduct regular audits of live product content to identify optimization opportunities and ensure content consistency.
- Collaborate with Data and Insights teams to test and optimize copy for engagement, comprehension, and conversion performance.

Work with Marketing to align product copy with campaign narratives and seasonal launches.

Build, mentor, and scale a global team of product writers, localization managers, and editors.

Manage external localization vendors, linguists, and QA partners.

Track and report KPIs around content velocity, translation quality, and time-to-market
WHO YOU ARE
-
10+ years of experience in product content, UX writing, or localization for a global brand (preferably luxury, travel, hospitality, or lifestyle tech).

Proven leadership of international copy and localization teams across multiple languages.

Strong understanding of content systems, TMS platforms, and localization workflows.

Exceptional writing and editing skills; able to balance luxury tone with clarity and usability.

Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering teams in agile environments.
