To support our team we are searching for a Copy Director Product (f/m/d) to be based in our Milan office.
Overview
Luxexperience is seeking an experienced and visionary Copy Director, Product Copy to lead the global product copy team responsible for delivering best-in-class product descriptions across three of the world’s leading luxury e-commerce brands: Mytheresa, Net-A-Porter, and Mr Porter. This leader will drive the creative, technological, and operational excellence of multilingual product copy, ensuring tone, style, and accuracy reflect each brand’s distinct identity while upholding the highest standards of consistency and quality.
A key focus of the role is to leverage AI-driven tools and workflows to scale product copy production, enhance efficiency, and maintain the distinctive editorial voice that defines luxury storytelling.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Leadership & Strategy

Lead and mentor the global product copy team, setting vision, standards, and workflows to elevate product copy across all languages and markets.

Partner with senior stakeholders in Brand, Merchandising, SEO, Marketing, and Tech to ensure product copy supports business goals, brand positioning, and customer experience.

Define and evolve tone of voice guidelines for each brand, ensuring nuanced consistency across categories and regions.
Operational Excellence

Oversee the creation, editing, and delivery of thousands of product descriptions weekly across multiple languages.

Develop scalable processes, tools, and style guides to drive efficiency, quality control, and alignment across international teams.

Manage agency, freelance, AI-assisted, and in-house copywriting resources to meet deadlines and seasonal peaks.

Partner with Localization and Translation teams to guarantee cultural and linguistic accuracy across global markets.
WHO YOU ARE

10+ years of experience in editorial, content, or copy leadership roles, ideally within luxury fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.

Strong track record of managing large-scale multilingual copy operations across global markets.

Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted content creation and the ability to balance automation with human creativity.

Expertise in crafting and maintaining brand voices, with proven ability to balance creativity and commercial priorities.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners (SEO, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Tech).

Strong leadership skills with experience building and inspiring high-performing teams.

Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

Fluency in English required
