To support our Buying team we are searching for a Buyer to be based in our London office.

 

Mytheresa is continuing to expand its Fine Jewellery & Watches category, one of the fastest-growing areas of the business. Following the successful launch of major Hard Luxury maisons and ambitious plans for future growth, we are looking for a Buyer to join the team and help shape the next phase of this category.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Lead buying appointments for Fine Jewellery and Watch brands, curating a commercial, elevated assortment aligned with the Mytheresa customer.

  • Own and develop vendor relationships, acting as the key commercial and strategic contact throughout the season.

  • Manage and develop the Assistant Buyer/Intern, ensuring strong execution across the buying process.

  • Execute the full buying cycle, including product selection, order placement, and post-appointment management.

  • Plan and deliver seasonal targets across sales, stock, and margin, optimizing in-season trading and stock levels.

  • Drive brand growth through exclusive products, capsule collections, new brand onboarding, and strategic collaborations.

  • Analyse performance and market trends, prepare reporting and presentations, and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize visibility and sales.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • Several years of experience in luxury buying, ideally within Fine Jewellery, Watches, or Hard Luxury.

  • Strong network and established relationships with luxury brands.

  • Deep understanding of luxury craftsmanship, heritage maisons, and emerging designers.

  • Commercially driven with the ability to balance creative vision and performance.

  • Proven ability to build, develop, and grow long-term brand partnerships.

  • Strong analytical skills with confidence in sales, stock, and margin performance analysis (including advanced Excel).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
