To support our Menswear Buying team we are searching for a Buyer - Menswear (f/m/d) to be based in our London office.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Leading appointments and product edit for selected brands, building commercial yet forward thinking product selections.
  • Managing the vendor relationship throughout the season.
  • Negotiating best product, trading and payment terms with vendors.
  • Planning and execution of seasonal buying strategy, driving sales and margin in line with department targets.
  • Monitor deliveries, stock levels and in-season trading to maximize sales opportunities and minimize risk.
  • Stay ahead of the mens market, identifying new trends and commercial opportunities for the department.
  • Work closely with other teams communicating the buy, product information and strategic highlights to support department and customer needs.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience at Buyer level within Menswear.
  • Excellent network within the luxury industry.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills to drive profitability.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Open communicator and team player across an international department.
  • Strong understanding of the mens market, luxury customer, and anticipating ‘what’s next’.
