Supervisor Copy - Maternity Cover (f/m/d)

Working together we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations with a passion for innovation.To support our Creative Team we are currently searching for a full-time Supervisor Copy based in our office in Munich. Working very closely with and reporting to the Team Leader Copy you will be supporting the Team Leader Copy with managing a team of Copy Editors. This position will be focused on balancing the quality and efficiency demand of the copy production while supporting and coaching the team in individual development.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the Team Leader Copy with line management of the Copy Editors including managing their performance and development through constant mentoring and annual reviews
- Review and plan resource requirements taking into consideration seasonal peaks and troughs
- Manage the freelance bookings of the respective copy teams
- Ensuring overall upload deadlines are achieved at all times
- Work cross-departmentally to ensure a seamless production and daily product upload
- Project management within the Copy Department
Your qualifications:
- Several years of experience with copywriting ideally in the ecom and/or fashion field
- First experiences in functional leadership required, someone who is committed to developing and motivating a team of copywriters
- Experience in resourcing to short lead times
- Ability to meet deadlines and an efficient production-minded mind-set
- A positive, proactive and transparent attitude
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ideally you have knowledge of the other copy languages in your team (German, Italian, French, Arabic etc.)
